Museum Visit
Our school recently partnered with the Queensland Museum to respectfully return items of cultural significance to their rightful place. After identifying several Aboriginal items that had been held at the school, our staff contacted museum staff to initiate the repatriation process. This week, Daniel and Lowarna from the museum visited the school to assess and collect the items. We are proud to have supported this important process, ensuring the items were treated with the respect and dignity they deserve. This work reflects our school’s ongoing commitment to building respectful relationships with Aboriginal community members and to acknowledging and valuing culture and history within our learning community.
