Chairperson Update Term 3, 2025
This term has been another exciting and productive one for both staff and students at Gumdale State School, filled with valuable opportunities and enriching experiences. From school camps and the wide range of Signature Programs available to students in Years 4 to 6, there have been multiple opportunities for students to be challenged and to thrive both in and beyond the classroom. Gumdale is fortunate to have a supportive P&C and Sponsors who enable the school to offer such diverse learning experiences and programs for students.
Congratulations to the P&C for kicking off the 90-year birthday celebrations by hosting a Black-Tie Gala Dinner at the Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron. This event was sold out and well supported by staff and parents. The celebrations continued at school for students with a disco and colour fun run. The energy and excitement filled the air throughout the day and it was wonderful to see so many students enjoying themselves.
Once again, thank you to all of our dedicated staff for making Gumdale such a supportive and inspiring place for our students. Wishing everyone a restful and enjoyable spring break ahead of the final term of 2025.
The Term 4 2025 meeting of the Gumdale State School, School Council is scheduled for Friday 21 November.
