NATIONAL SCIENCE WEEK ACTIVITY: TUESDAY 14 AUGUST 2018 // ALL YEAR LEVELS
As part of our school's commitment to provide engaging and authentic STEAM learning opportunities for our students, we will be celebrating National Science Week: Game Changers and Change Makers from 11 - 19 August and have organised a visit from Street Science.
Street Science are a team of passionate science educators who use exciting and interative stage demonstrations to bring science to life. This year, they are helping us celebrate National Science Week: Game Changers and Change Makers by brining their 'BLASTING THE PAST - an exploration of history's biggest scientific breakthroughs and the people who made ideas a reality' show to our school.
The shows use energetic demonstrations to recognise some of history's coolest chemists, best biologists, and fantastic physicists, and their greatest world altering discovering. It's set to be a truly engaging, exciting and educational whole-school event, using meaningful scientific content to challenge students to rethink their own understandings and perceptions of science to become the world's next game changers and change makers.

Performance Times:
Prep and Year 1: 09:15am-10:00am
Years 2-3: 10:15am - 11:00am
Years 4-6: 11:45am-12:30pm
Amount: $7.00 due before 6 August 2018
Payment: An invoice will be emailed to parents separately from our accounts office.
